Mr. Simpson joined Hillcrest in 2024 and is an Investment Analyst. In this role, he is tasked with supporting the team’s origination, underwriting, and asset management efforts.

 

Prior to joining the Hillcrest team, Mr. Simpson was an Associate with Arbor Realty Trust, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust. Arbor Realty Trust is a direct lender, providing loan origination and servicing for multifamily, single-family rental (SFR), seniors housing, and other diverse commercial real estate assets. As an Associate with the team, Mr. Simpson was responsible for underwriting and closing $100,000,000 in total loan volume and assisting in transaction management. He developed cash flow analysis and valuations for nationwide stabilized and transitional multi-family properties.

 

Mr. Simpson received a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Finance from Elon University.
